Archaeo Cultural Heritage Services was established in 1996 as one of Queensland’s first privately owned cultural heritage consultancies. Over time, the company expanded its role to support Traditional Owner employment, engagement and the implementation of cultural heritage agreements across Queensland.
In 2007, Converge Heritage + Community was established to separate the company’s cultural heritage consultancy services from its Traditional Owner employment and engagement activities. Today, Archaeo focuses on Traditional Owner engagement, capacity building and employment services, while Converge delivers a full suite of cultural heritage technical services.
At Archaeo Training & Employment Services, we combine practical workforce solutions, strong community relationships and extensive on-country experience. Here’s what makes us different.
With decades of experience supporting projects across Queensland, we have successfully coordinated Traditional Owner employment across infrastructure, mining and development projects.
We maintain strong relationships with Traditional Owner groups, ensuring engagement processes are handled respectfully and that employment opportunities are delivered in a culturally appropriate way.
Our training programs prepare Traditional Owner employees to participate safely and effectively in industry projects, building skills that support long-term employment and workforce capability.
We provide reliable workforce coordination and agreement implementation support, helping proponents meet engagement commitments while delivering meaningful outcomes for communities.
Our work is built on long-standing relationships with Traditional Owner groups, developers, government agencies and industry partners. Through practical workforce solutions and respectful engagement, we support projects that create employment opportunities while strengthening community capability.
With decades of experience delivering employment, training and workforce coordination services, Archaeo provides reliable support for projects across Queensland.
